THE WHOLE EQUESTRIAN

Bridging the gap between riding and wellness.

It can be easy to take better care of our horses than ourselves.  That's why Emily and Tyler Held created The Whole Equestrian in 2019.  What started as a podcast discussing mindset, fitness, nutrition, and community has grown into clinics and coaching as well.  Our clinics offer a lot of unmounted activities like yoga, meditation, mental toughness training, how to prepare easy and healthy meals, and much more.  Participants can also opt into mounted lessons with Emily.

STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH

Or technically their riders...

Emily empowers her students with the skills and strategies to unlock the potential of both the horse and rider. She is friendly, flexible, positive, open-minded, and professional in every situation, with a willingness to help us achieve goals that extend beyond the saddle. We are fortunate to spend a significant amount of time with her at the farm, and every moment has been a wonderful experience. Thank you, Emily!!

Alexis Kletjian

Emily is fantastic! We’ve had her for a few clinics and lessons at our farm and she is great. Emily is patient and knowledgeable and knows when to push and when not to. She is a fantastic trainer and friend and I would highly recommend her!

Cheyenne Lamela-Dykstra

I have been fortunate enough to know and train with Emily for the better part of two decades.  Through different horses and different states, I have always appreciated her positive teaching style.  Emily conducts her lessons and clinics in a way that boosts confidence for horse and rider and I look forward to riding with her whenever she is in the area!
